Consistent Progress with Potential to Enhance Finish Koby Caplan completed the Rocky Mountain Half Marathon with a final time of 2:43:06, maintaining an average pace of 12:27 min/mile. Consistency was a highlight as the initial four miles hovered near a 10:40 min/mile pace. Notably, the fastest mile was between the 5th and 6th mile at 9:49 min/mile, a pace nearly one minute faster than the average split. The performance saw Koby finishing 58th in his division of Male 30-34, out of 802 total participants. While there was a manageable pace through mile six, the pacing varied in the later segments, culminating in splits at mile 8 and mile 10 of 15:22 min/mile and 15:48 min/mile respectively. Focus on sustaining pace throughout will be key to maintaining momentum in the later stages for future races.
