Strong Cadence and Impressive Consistency Conner Soendker maintained an impressive cadence throughout his half marathon, finishing with an overall time of 1:30:48 and an average pace of 6:55 min/mile. Starting strong in the first mile with a 6:34 pace, he quickly gained ground, moving from 5th to 2nd place by the third mile. Conner displayed consistency by keeping his pace under 7:00 min/mile for the majority of the race, only slightly slowing down momentarily between miles 9 (6:57) and 10 (9:22). However, he finished strong, recording a 6:05 pace at the eleventh mile and a 6:30 pace at the twelfth. His ability to maintain his position within the top 5 for most of the race, particularly during the consistent splits from miles 3 to 9, is commendable. To further enhance race strategy, maintaining the momentum seen in the first half could help in avoiding time drops. Overall, Conner's performance demonstrated great endurance and racing potential.
