Consistent Performance and Strong Finish Alan Squyres delivered an impressive performance in the 2026 Vacation Races' Yosemite Half Marathon, completing the race in 1:21:52 with an average pace of 6:14 min/mile. Throughout the race, he maintained a consistent pace, particularly notable in the later stages where his splits showed impressive acceleration. Notably, between miles 9 and 10, Alan achieved the fastest splits of his race with paces of 5:45 min/mile and 5:38 min/mile, respectively. This helped him secure a 12th place overall finish and the top spot in his age division, M45-49. Alan's strategic pacing helped him climb from a position of 17th overall to a final 10th at mile 11, eventually securing 12th place again by the completion of the race.
