Consistent Pacing and a Strong Finish Highlight the Performance Jake Sonandres showcased a steady and consistent pacing strategy throughout the Yosemite Half Marathon, finishing with an admirable overall time of 1:49:32, maintaining an overall pace of 8:21 min/mile. Notably, Jake managed to progressively improve his pace after the halfway point. From mile 7 onwards, he transitioned to faster splits, achieving his best mile time of 7:43 during mile 9. A key strength was Jake's ability to reclaim positions in the latter part of the race, evident from gaining ground in his age division, moving from 86th position to finish 73rd. Despite starting with a slightly faster first mile at 8:12 min/mile, his finish places him respectably in the top 10% of his division out of 3795 participants.
