Although there was a slight decrease in pace during the middle splits, Eric demonstrated remarkable pacing, finishing the last 3 miles under a 6-minute pace, including a notable 5:48 min/mile pace at mile 11. Erics performance earned him the top spot in his division and a commendable 10th place overall among 3,795 participants. His overall time was 1:20:17, resulting in an average pace of 6:07 min/mile.
