Consistent Pace with Strong Finish Mario Salguero maintained a strong performance in the 2026 Vacation Races | Yosemite Half Marathon. With an impressive time of 1:18:13, he achieved an overall pace of 5:58 min/mile. Notably, he secured 5th place overall, out of 3795 participants, showcasing excellent competitiveness. Throughout the race, Mario consistently advanced in position, beginning in 14th place and eventually climbing to 5th. Highlighting his performance, Mario demonstrated a swift finish with a remarkable 11th mile, clocking in at a 4:09 min/mile split pace. His ability to maintain and even quicken his pace in later miles is commendable. However, there was a noticeable drop in speed at mile 12, where he ran an 8:26 min/mile split.
