Consistency With Late Race Surge Lorenzo began his race with a strong start, clocking an 8:14 pace for his first mile. Over the next three miles, the pace slightly increased to between 8:38 and 8:46 minutes per mile. Notable was the strategic push between miles 5 and 10, where Lorenzo progressively picked up the pace, with his fastest mile being the 10th, at a swift 7:14 pace. This section was more consistent and effectively vitalized his overall pace. While Lorenzo's pace saw a slight dip in the last few miles, his start and middle segments were commendable. He completed the half marathon with an overall time of 1:52:47 at an average pace of 8:36 min/mile. Maintaining a steadier pace in the last two miles could result in a more consistent finish. His placement across various categories remained stable, showing potential for future race improvements. Great effort maintaining those middle miles!
