Impressive Pace Improvement and Strong Finish Alton Barbehenn started his 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K with a steady pace, clocking a time of 10:23 for the first mile. He progressively quickened his pace, with mile two registered at 9:43 and mile three at 9:34, significantly improving his positioning to place 1334th overall with improved rank in his division, M30-39. Notably, as Hayes Hill approached between 2.2 and 2.7 miles, he maintained an impressive effort to maintain pace and improve placement.
