Over the course of the 7.45-mile run, Allan completed the race with an overall time of 2:17:49, maintaining an average pace of 18:30 minutes per mile. His performance saw him place 6,625 in the male category and 340th in the M19 & Under division out of 24,386 participants. Notably, Allan's pace improved significantly mid-race. After starting with a 15:52 min/mile, he faced a challenging period from mile 2, particularly evident at Hayes Hill. Despite this, Allan improved his standing dramatically after the halfway mark, particularly between the fifth and sixth miles, and finished strong with a final mile split of 14:23 min/mile.
