Consistent Effort with Strong Finish in Bay to Breakers Xiang Wang participated in the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K event, representing the "Beyond the limit" team from Foster City, CA. Maintaining a consistent pace, Xiang covered the first two miles with a steady 16:41 min/mile pace. Despite facing the steep challenge of Hayes Hill starting at mile 2.2, Xiang showed determination, completing the third mile with an 18:13 min/mile pace. The middle section of the race saw the most significant variation, with splits ranging from 21:19 at mile 3 to 24:43 by mile 5. A notable improvement was observed near the race's conclusion. Xiang picked up the pace with a significant split time decrease to 14:04 min/mile at mile 7, showcasing a strong finish.
