Steady Performance with Effective Improvement In the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K, Jeffrey maintained a consistent pace early on with the first two miles clocking in at 23:27 min/mile. As the race progressed through the infamous Hayes Hill stretch, there was marked improvement. Mile 3 saw an improved split pace of 19:20 min/mile and Mile 4 was even swifter at 18:05 min/mile. This indicates Jeffrey adapted well to race conditions and challenges. The latter stages of the race showed continued improvement in pacing, with Mile 5 having a pace of 14:43 min/mile, and Mile 6 reduced to an impressive 14:09 min/mile. Ultimately, he completed the event with an overall time of 2:13:55 and a consistent overall event pace of 17:58 min/mile. Jeffrey's strategic pacing translates into a favorable position of 1892 in the M20-29 division. Focusing on enhancing initial splits might yield even stronger results.
