Steady Progress Over Hayes Hill Leads to Strong Finish Vasu demonstrated steady progress over the 9.22-mile race, finishing with an overall time of 1:45:53 and an average pace of 11:29 min/mile. Vasu's performance notably improved in the latter part of the race. After tackling Hayes Hill between miles 2.2 and 2.7 with split times of 12:26 and 13:30, Vasu accelerated with a 9:06 split in the final mile, showing effective pacing adjustments. The pacing strategy employed helped Vasu improve his position within the male division M30-39, moving from 335th to 347th as the race progressed.
