Steady Progression with Strong Finish Jesse demonstrated a consistent effort throughout the 12K race, gradually improving his pace over the latter half. Starting with a 19:04 min/mile pace in the first mile and clocking an elapsed time of 1:03:32 by the 3-mile mark, the challenging portion of the race was met during the ascent of Hayes Hill. Jesses pace adjusted to 24:42 min/mile on this section, reflecting the significant gradient, which held his consistent position steady in the Male 30-39 division. Notably, Jesse's speed significantly increased over the final miles. From Hayes Hill onwards, he picked up his pace remarkably to finish with an impressive 8:38 min/mile in the final mile. Achieving an overall elapsed time of 2:02:14 with a pace of 16:24 min/mile, Jesse's commitment led him to finish 5,957th in the male category.
