Significant Mid-Race Improvement Alison Keefe completed the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K with a finish time of 1:17:34, maintaining an average pace of 10:24 min/mile. Her performance placed her 3167th overall out of 26,545 participants, ranking 976th among females and 331st in the F30-39 division. Notably, Alison started with consistent split times around 11:00 min/mile until she reached Hayes Hill. Despite the steep climb from mile 2.2 to 2.7, she initially lost some speed but regained momentum after the hill. A major improvement can be seen post-Hayes Hill, with Alison executing faster splits of 9:44 and 9:20 in the latter part of the race, significantly boosting her standing. She climbed 454 places overall from the beginning to the end and improved her division and gender placements substantially in the second half.
