Consistent Performance with Opportunities for Strategic Pacing Cheri showcased solid perseverance throughout the 12K race, completing the course in 2:14:05 with an average pace of 17:59 min/mile. The initial 1-mile split was clocked at 13:52, reflecting a strong start. However, as the race progressed to the iconic Hayes Hill, the third split was notably longer at 25:01, which impacted her position in the division F50-59, moving her to 450th place. Despite this challenging section, Cheri maintained a steady effort and completed the 5-mile split in 1:30:22. Cheri's overall placement was 14149 out of 26545 participants. Its impressive how she managed to maintain a stable pace nearing the end, particularly with the consistent split paces of approximately 18:00 min/mile for the last few miles. Her effort and focus are commendable, especially on flatter sections, as her pace slightly improved over miles 5 and 6. Continued focus on strategic pacing through inclines like Hayes Hill could further enhance her performance.
