Consistent Pace and Strong Finish Anna Stone maintained a steady approach throughout the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K run. Starting off with an initial pace of 29:51 min/mile, she showed consistency by repeating the same split at the 2-mile mark. However, despite the increasing challenge of Hayes Hill, Anna's time at the 3-mile mark was 1:33:06 with a slower split pace of 33:24 min/mile. Notably, she improved her pace in the following miles, resulting in a significant reduction in split times to 22:20 min/mile. Anna covered a total distance of 7.45 miles with an overall time of 3:27:25, achieving a final pace of 27:50 min/mile. Her overall placement was 18,829 out of 24,386 participants, with a division placement of 477 in F19 & Under. Anna's strong finish after encountering Hayes Hill suggests that focusing on maintaining stamina after challenging segments could further her performance in future races.
