Strong Finish with Impressive Pacing Milla Konings delivered a robust performance at the 2026 Bay to Breakers event, completing the 15K in 1:26:49 with an average pace of 9:24 min/mile. Her race strategy was evident through steadily improving splits. After starting with an 11:39 min/mile pace in the first mile, she strategically navigated the course, including a notable 13:01 min/mile pace on Hayes Hill from miles 2.2 to 2.7, where her position notably improved from 330th to 102nd in her gender category. Milla's most impressive performance came in the final stretch, covering the last four miles at a 4:07 min/mile pace. Her strong finish resulted in securing 519th place overall among 4080 participants, with significant advancements in her gender and division placements, achieving 102nd in females and 39th in the F30-39 division.
