Consistent Pace Throughout with Strong Finish on a Tough Segment Stella maintained a solid and consistent pace throughout the race, with her overall elapsed pace being 18:46 min/mile. She demonstrated her ability to sustain her speed over 7.45 miles, especially noteworthy when running uphill from 2.2 to 2.7 miles. Despite the challenge of Hayes Hill, her elapsed pace only slightly dropped to 18:53 min/mile at mile 3, showing good pacing strategy and resilience. She placed 10,950th overall and 5,428th among women at the 6-mile mark, highlighting improved positioning post-Hayes Hill. By the end of the race, Stella's final position was 14,548th out of a total of 24,523 participants. There was a noticeable improvement in her division placement after the challenging course segment, suggesting effective strategy. Focusing on maintaining a similar pace throughout might further improve her standings in subsequent races.
