Starting with consistent splits of 10:30 min/mile for the first two miles, Jason maintained a steady early pace. Notable adaptations were seen between miles 2 and 3, with pace decreasing to 11:43 min/mile on Hayes Hill, but his position in the male 30-39 division improved significantly, jumping from 648th to 518th place.
