Consistent Performance with Strong Finish Pat Donnelly delivered a solid performance in the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K event. Maintaining a consistent pace throughout the race, Pat completed the 7.45-mile course with a total time of 42:18, averaging a pace of 5:40 minutes per mile. Pat's splits showed an excellent start, clocking 5:19 in the first mile. Notably, mile five showcased a robust effort with a split time of 5:42, reinforcing endurance and speed. Despite facing the challenging Hayes Hill between 2.2 and 2.7 miles, evidenced by the split time of 6:29 in mile three, Pat displayed remarkable resilience. The race concluded with an impressive final split of 5:22 in mile seven, representing his fastest mile and solidifying placement within the top 13 in the M30-39 division. Focusing on even pacing through hilly sections could further improve performance in similar future events.
