He navigated the course with a total time of 1:31:19 and an average pace of 12:15 min/mile. Starting with a 12:34 min/mile pace for the first mile, he exhibited improved speed in the second mile with an 11:39 min/mile split. His performance peaked in the later miles, consistently holding around the 11:47 min/mile pace at several intervals. Despite the challenging elevation change of Hayes Hill, Nick managed to handle mile 3 moderately, resulting in an improved placement from the start. By the midpoint, his overall, gender, and division placements advanced significantly. Engaging in a slightly slower mile 7 split at 12:59 min/mile, he still efficiently crossed the finish line.
