Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish David Booth-Metwally demonstrated consistent pacing in the 2026 Bay to Breakers 15K Breakers Bonus. Starting strong with a 7:54 min/mile pace for the first mile, he maintained an impressive average pace of 7:55 min/mile throughout the course. Notably, David tackled the steep Hayes Hill with effective pacing, finishing mile 3 in 8:25 min/mile and improving by adjusting his speed on subsequent miles. His performance peaked towards the end with his fastest splits at mile 6 with 7:25 min/mile and mile 7 with 7:10 min/mile, showing a firm finish in the latter part of the race. By completing the race in 1:13:06 and securing a place within the top 50 in his division, David showcased endurance and strategic pacing.
