Steady Progress with Strong Finish Julia Dugger participated in the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K. Throughout the race, her pacing showed distinct phases. A consistent start with a pace of 14:02 min/mile for the first mile was followed by a slower segment, dipping to a pace of 17:23 min/mile in the second mile. Significant improvement was noted from mile 5, where she trimmed her split pace to 17:04 min/mile, down to 13:18 min/mile for the final stretch. Julia's placement also demonstrated her competitive drive. By the third mile, her rank improved significantly, moving up 2,457 places overall. Her determination was evident as she maintained a solid position within her division and bettered her placement towards the end. The effort in the last mile, one of her fastest, was a highlight.
