Starting with a steady pace of 12:08 min/mile for the first two miles, Akhilan managed to maintain composure through Hayes Hill, slightly dropping to a 12:23 min/mile pace by the third mile yet significantly improving his positioning, moving up to 608th in his division. Notably, Akhilan showed remarkable improvement in the latter half of the race.
