Steady Commitment Through the Course Finish Carol Snell completed the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K with consistent determination. Her initial mile saw a solid pace of 11:20 min/mile, establishing a good start in the large field. Hills seem to have impacted her performance between miles 2 and 3, where her pace dropped to 33:49 min/mile on Hayes Hill. That said, Carol maintained consistent effort, finishing the 7.45-mile course with a final elapsed time of 3:17:05, placing her mid-pack among her peers. Throughout the race, her overall pace was 26:27 min/mile. While the third mile posed a significant challenge, her pace improved slightly again in the final stretch, managing 26:45 min/mile in mile 7. Her overall placement was 19983, and she ranked 1148 in her division.
