Consistent Start with Strategic Improvement Usha Ramachandran maintained a consistent pace in the first two miles, clocking 13:16 minutes per mile, both at mile one and two. This steady start positioned her well in her division, ranking 561 among F40-49. The increasing difficulty is evident during miles three due to Hayes Hill, where her pace slowed to 31:52 min/mile, highlighting a natural point of effort. Post-Hayes Hill, Usha regained momentum, improving her pace across successive splits. By mile six, she recorded a strong 12:04 min/mile, a significant improvement from earlier splits. Her final mile was completed at a steady 12:45 min/mile, culminating in a total race time of 1:58:53. It's notable that she enhanced her placement in the latter stages, indicating strength in the second half of the race.
