Solid Effort with a Smooth Finish Milo Witt showed perseverance throughout the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K, especially notable with a strong finishing kick. His overall time was 3:27:21, covering 7.45 miles with an average pace of 27:49 min/mile. Milo began with a consistent pace of 22:25 min/mile in the first mile, which was his fastest split. There was a gradual pace increase, peaking during the climb around Hayes Hill, with splits of 27:28 and 28:25 min/mile in miles three and four. These adjustments were strategic, given the course profile. Milo demonstrated impressive resilience and strategic pacing by picking up speed towards the end. His final mile was completed at a pace of 23:46 min/mile, marking his second-fastest split of the event. Maintaining focus in the latter half of the race helped Milo improve his overall standing.
