Consistent Progress with Room to Enhance Pacing Lesley Wynne completed the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K with a total time of 3:18:59. Starting strong, her pace at the 1-mile mark was 17:22 min/mile. Though Hayes Hill led to a slower third mile, she later improved her pace during the fourth mile with 19:20 min/mile. Her final mile showed a commendable finish with a 22:55 min/mile pace, highlighting her ability to regain speed after a challenging section. Her overall placement was 18,405 out of 24,386 participants and 523rd in the F60-69 division. Keeping in mind the fluctuation between splits, especially the prolonged fifth mile, implementing more focused hill training and pacing strategies could potentially enhance future performances. As a member of The Taco Cats, her progress will surely contribute positively to the team.
