Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Daniel maintained a strong average pace of 6:43 min/mile over the 12K Bay to Breakers race. His strategic pacing is evident in the first two miles, clocking split times of 6:33 min/mile. There was a slowing on Hayes Hill between miles 2.2 and 2.7 with the third mile taking 7:41 min/mile, where he dropped some positions. However, his recovery was impressive, notably accelerating in the last stretch with a split of 6:08 min/mile at mile 7. By the finish line, Daniel completed the race in 50:04, ranking 268th out of 26,545 participants. Notably, he gained 8 positions from mile 5 to mile 6, demonstrating an effective push towards the end.
