Maintained Steady Pace Throughout Vince LeBouton participated in the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K race, keeping a steady pace throughout the race. Starting with a 10:47 min/mile for the first mile, he maintained a consistent pace somewhere around 13 minute/mile from miles 2 through 5. Notably, mile 3 saw a slower split of 16:27 min/mile, coinciding with Hayes Hill. Vince completed the 7.45-mile course with an elapsed time of 1:43:47, which averages out to a 13:55 min/mile pace. Although Vince's place shifted from 4990 at the beginning to 8791 overall, the consistency in his pacing is commendable. Specifically, his performance improved slightly after conquering Hayes Hill, moving on to finish the last two miles with paces of 17:00 min/mile for mile 6 and 13:55 min/mile for mile 7. Joining the UCSF team, Vince displayed a strong effort in the M30-39 division, placing 1619 out of 24386 participants.
