Strong Finish with Consistent Improvement Calvin Katz demonstrated impressive pacing throughout the 2026 Bay to Breakers event, particularly on Hayes Hill. His early splits showcased consistent performance, with initial miles clocked at 5:32 and 5:53 min/mile. Notably, from mile three to four, Calvin navigated the steep ascent effectively, reaching the hills peak at mile 4 with a time of 6:06. Post-Hayes Hill, Calvin improved his pace, achieving a swift 5:26 min/mile in the fifth mile. Calvin's strong finish in the final stretch, with a split time of 5:23 and an overall pace of 5:43 min/mile, demonstrated both stamina and speed.
