Steady Climb with an Impressive Finish Nathaniel showcased consistent pacing throughout the 2026 Bay to Breakers race, with a notable improvement in the final miles. Starting with a pace of 9:13 min/mile for the first mile, he managed to maintain a steady pace over the course, only slightly slowing around Hayes Hill with a 10:16 min/mile split between miles 2 and 3. He adeptly regained momentum afterward, completing mile 5 in 8:17 and improved to 7:55 in the final mile, showing a strong finish. Overall, Nathaniel completed 7.45 miles in 1:05:45, achieving an impressive average pace of 8:49 min/mile.
