Consistent Progress with Strong Finish Nalini Ramlogan maintained a steady pace throughout the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K, finishing with an overall time of 1:26:01. The splits reveal an initial consistent pace, averaging 11:32 min/mile over the first two miles. A notable slowdown occurred on the third mile, coinciding with the steep Hayes Hill from 2.2 to 2.7 miles, with a split time of 13:58 min/mile. From mile five onwards, Nalini improved her pace significantly, particularly evident in the sixth and seventh mile with impressive times of 9:48 min/mile and 9:39 min/mile respectively. Her performance shows a strong finish as she advanced her place overall and within her division in the latter part of the race. Focusing on maintaining a consistent rhythm during challenging sections like the Hayes Hill can further enhance her race performance. Overall, a great demonstration of endurance and strategic pacing in a large field of participants.
