Consistent Effort with Notable Improvements David Madole completed the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K race with a total time of 1:33:34 and an average pace of 12:33 min/mile. Interestingly, David improved his position significantly between the 3rd and the 7th mile, moving up from 4163rd to 5348th overall. His pace increased consistently after the challenging incline on Hayes Hill ended at the 2.7-mile mark, indicating strong recovery and stamina. David's consistent effort was evident from his split times. Despite a slight slowdown on Hayes Hill with a 13:59 min/mile pace during the third mile, he managed to bring it down to 12:31 min/mile by the seventh mile. Enhancing hill training could further improve times in future races. His performance in the M50-59 division showed a steady improvement as well, climbing from 381st to 394th position. Overall, Davids performance was steady, and his pacing strategy showed effective race management.
