Consistent Pace and Strategic Finishes Antara Majumdar executed a steady race with an overall time of 1:42:54 for the 7.45-mile (12K) "2026 Bay to Breakers" event. Her average pace was 13:48 per mile. Notably, Antara maintained consistent placements throughout the race, placing 9317th overall in an event with 24,523 participants. Particularly impressive was her strategy during the course's challenging segments. Initially starting at a pace of 12:46 min/mile, she managed to tackle the steep Hayes Hill between miles 2 to 3, slowing to a 17:12 min/mile pace. Post-hill, she accelerated significantly with a 11:16 and 11:57 min/mile pace in miles six and seven, showing strong adaptive pacing skills. This effort resulted in improving her divisions positions post Hayes Hill challenge, showing resilience in her race strategy.
