Consistent Effort and Strong Finish in 12K Event Hannah Holz maintained a consistent pace throughout the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K event, beginning with her first two mile splits at 21:15 min/mile. Her third and fourth miles slowed slightly to a pace of around 24-25 min/mile. Despite the slowdown on Hayes Hill from 2.2 to 2.7 miles, she recovered well by quickening her pace to 20:18 min/mile in mile six and improved further in mile seven to 19:53 min/mile. This consistent pacing strategy indicates excellent endurance handling. In terms of placement, Hannah demonstrated impressive movement up the ranks, especially notable in the third mile where she moved from 14762 to 11258 overall. Ending with an overall time of 2:45:05 and an overall average pace of 22:09 min/mile, she finished strong, ranking 421st in her division (F19 & Under). Her participation as part of "Pickleball Family and Friends" highlights her team spirit. Future focus on mid-race pacing may help sustain momentum longer.
