Initially covering the first mile in 20:50, Xiaoyi maintained a steady pace. Notably, the section between 2 to 3 miles, where Hayes Hill is located, was completed in 21:31. Post-Hayes Hill, Xiaoyi showed improvement, moving from 1117th to 1015th overall by the 4-mile mark. Although the last mile split of 31:12 was slower, the pacing prior to that allowed Xiaoyi to finish 697th among females out of 1839 participants. Her consistent pacing throughout demonstrates strong mental focus. Focusing on sustaining momentum in later miles could enhance future performances.
