Steady Improvement and Strong Finish Devin's performance at the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K demonstrated a consistent pace with a total elapsed time of 1:34:37. Starting the race with an 11:09 min/mile split for the first mile, Devin showed solid early pace. The impact of Hayes Hill is evident between miles 2 and 3, where the pace slowed to 13:21 min/mile and 14:51 min/mile, respectively. This section affected the overall pacing, but its notable how quickly recovery was achieved. Devin's effort on the ascent improved placement significantly from 8548 overall to 5947 by mile 3. Beyond the hill, Devin regained momentum, clocking a 12:44 min/mile in the fourth mile. The pace continued to improve with a strong finish in the last mile at 10:17 min/mile. That impressive final sprint raised the final overall placement to 7404. Strategically maintaining focus in such sections will aid in sustaining pace throughout the race duration.
