Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Dylan maintained an impressive steady pace through the initial two miles of the 2026 Bay to Breakers race, clocking consistent 11:34 min/mile splits. At the challenging Hayes Hill, his pace slowed to 12:58 min/mile, which is understandable given the elevation. This strategic pacing saw Dylan improve his overall position from 5125th to 3710th. In the latter half, Dylan displayed notable resilience, finishing strong with a 9:03 min/mile split for the final mile. This resulted in a finishing time of 1:26:50, with an average pace of 11:39 min/mile across the 12K course. His final positions were 5479th overall, 3322nd among males, and 825th in the M20-29 division. Notably, Dylans placement improved significantly during the final mile, suggesting a capability to push through in the end.
