Consistent Start, Strong Finish in Bay to Breakers Jessica showed a steady and consistent performance initially, maintaining a split pace of 15:57 min/mile for the first two miles, aligning with her pace, not dropping in placement. She improved significantly in mile 3, dropping to a 12:00 min/mile pace and moving up to 1968th overall, indicating overcoming challenging gradients like Hayes Hill. Post mile 3, Jessica kept improving her pace, culminating in a 11:06 min/mile pace in mile 7. Her overall placement improved during this period, peaking at 1522nd. Notably, improvement slowed in mile 9 with a 19:35 min/mile pace, affecting her ultimate position at 2279th overall and 339th in F30-39.
