Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish JV Vergara displayed a commendable performance at the 2026 Bay to Breakers with a total time of 1:36:53 over the 9.22-mile distance. His overall pacing average was 10:30 min/mile. Notably, Vergara maintained a steady initial pace, with the first mile clocked at 11:40 min/mile, improving progressively through various segments. His best split pace was during the fifth and sixth miles, each completed at a 9:34 min/mile pace, showcasing his ability to manage speed effectively after Hayes Hill.
