Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Stefan demonstrated endurance and determination throughout the 12K race, finishing with an elapsed time of 3:03:00, covering a distance of 7.45 miles at an overall pace of 24:33 min/mile. Starting strong with a 13:19 min/mile pace for the first mile, his pace was affected by the challenging Hayes Hill between miles 2.2 and 2.7. Notably, his pace improved significantly between miles 5 and 6, where he recorded his second fastest split pace of 14:53 min/mile, recovering well from earlier splits. Despite fluctuating paces throughout the race, Stefan was able to improve his position in his division significantly from the 5th to 6th mile. He placed 1,970th in the M20-29 division, out of 2,4386 participants overall. The improvement during the latter part of the race indicates potential for quicker pacing strategies in future races, particularly during hill sections.
