Consistent Pace with Strong Middle Splits Kyle Webber demonstrated a consistent performance in the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K event, finishing with an overall time of 1:35:02, and maintaining an average pace of 12:45 min/mile. Notably, the middle portion of the race showed significant improvement. From miles 3 to 5, there was a marked increase in pace, with split paces of 13:31, 12:07, and 12:42 min/mile respectively. Webber's ranking in his division improved significantly during this stretch, advancing from 922nd to 725th position. The strongest split was noted at the 2-mile mark with a time of 10:46, showing resilience on the course, particularly through Hayes Hill. As the race progressed, Webber maintained competitive placement, finishing 764th in the M40-49 division. Continuing to build on the strength demonstrated in the middle miles could further enhance future race performances.
