Despite encountering Hayes Hill from miles 2.2 to 2.7, his third split saw a noticeable spike in time, recording a 31:44 pace. This segment impacted his overall pace, yet he showed perseverance by maintaining a similar pace through the fourth and fifth miles. An interesting observation is Kenneth's more efficient pace in the final segment, mile seven, just before completing the 12K Bay to Breakers race. He accelerated to a 21:23 pace, which was noticeably quicker than his overall average pace of 27:27 min/mile. Although his final placement was 18688th out of 24386 participants, his improved pace towards the end showcases his capability to finish strong.
