Consistent Pace and Strong Finish Hallie Blakey showed an impressive ability to progressively increase her pace through the 12K Bay to Breakers race, finishing with a commendable overall time of 1:07:34. She maintained a steady pace in the initial miles, with her 1-mile splits starting at 10:25 min/mile and progressively decreasing. Remarkably, after tackling the steep Hayes Hill from 2.2 to 2.7 miles, Hallie increased her pace significantly. By mile 6, she had reduced her split pace to a sharp 7:59 min/mile. Her final overall pace was 9:04 min/mile, with her final placement at 1501 out of 26,545 participants. Consistency in pace improvement throughout the race underlines her steady endurance and strategic pacing.
