Steady Improvement and Strong Finish Daniel demonstrated a strong progression throughout the 12K Bay to Breakers race. His pace improved significantly after the first two miles, transitioning from an initial 10:40 min/mile to an impressive 7:47 min/mile by mile 7. This improvement was notable especially on Hayes Hill, where many runners face challenges. His strategic pacing resulted in moving up 1,825 places from miles 2 to 3 alone. Despite starting in the 3,324th position, Daniel's final placement was 1,499th overall out of 26,545 participants. He also claimed the 414th spot within the Male 30-39 division. His effort averaged a 9:04 min/mile pace over the race distance of 7.45 miles. Continuing to refine his speed and maintaining consistent energy output, especially at the beginning, could lead to even better overall performance in future events. Keep up the focused hard work and consistent training.
