Consistent Start, Strong Finish Scarlet Agudelo demonstrated consistent pacing overall in the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K event, finishing with an elapsed time of 1:56:07 and a pace of 15:35 min/mile. She maintained a steady pace for the initial two miles, clocking in identical splits of 14:01 min/mile. Notably, mile 3 presented a steeper challenge with a pace drop to 16:37 min/mile, but Scarlet effectively managed this section and improved her placement significantly. The course's latter half saw Scarlet reclaiming her stride, particularly between miles 6 and 7, reducing her split pace to 15:50 min/mile and 16:30 min/mile respectively.
