Consistent Mid-Race Recovery Leads to Solid Progress Daniel Richardson completed the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K with a total time of 1:53:47, maintaining an average pace of 15:16 min/mile. Notable consistency was observed through the race, especially from miles 2 to 3, where a demanding section of the course significantly affected his pace, leading to a split of 16:35 min/mile on Hayes Hill. The most rapid improvement was evident between miles 5 and 6, showing a gain with a split of 14:21 min/mile, demonstrating resilience and strength in the second half of the race.
