Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Megan Kieu demonstrated impressive consistency throughout the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K with steady pacing, maintaining a near-consistent pace around 17:40 min/mile for the first five miles. Her split times were remarkably stable with a minor fluctuation, recording between 17:35 and 17:42 min/mile. Particularly noteworthy was her performance on the third mile, where she achieved her fastest pace of 17:35 min/mile, a pivotal moment in her race. Despite the challenging climb on Hayes Hill between 2.2 and 2.7 miles, Megan managed to maintain her overall positioning.
