Steady Pace with Mid-Race Challenge Angela Rui from Walnut Creek, CA, maintained a consistent pace in the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K. Her splits were generally steady, with the exception of the third mile on Hayes Hill where her time increased to a 19:02 min/mile split pace. This was the slowest segment of her race, contributing to an overall time of 1:59:18 for the 7.45-mile course. In terms of progression, Angela moved up significantly in positioning after the initial splits. She started at 11405th place overall, showing improvement by moving up to 8752nd by the third mile.
