Steady Progress with a Strong Finish Angela Rui maintained a consistent pace in the 2026 Bay to Breakers 12K event, representing Canadian Solar USA. Starting with a 15:40 min/mile pace for the first mile, Angela showed admirable consistency despite the challenging terrain of Hayes Hill. By the third mile, her pace slowed to 19:02 min/mile, which is understandable given the incline. However, she demonstrated remarkable resilience by improving her pace to 13:45 min/mile in the fifth mile. Throughout the race, Angela's positioning in her division improved significantly, from 1681st to 1286th, showcasing her strong performance from miles 3 to 6. Despite initial challenges, Angela finished with an overall time of 1:59:18, achieving a consistent pace of 16:00 min/mile over 7.45 miles. Continuing to focus on controlling pace during inclines could further enhance Angela's positioning in future events. Well done on a solid performance!
